MISSING PERSON

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking the public for assistance in locating a Houma man that was reported missing by family on the night of October 27, 2024. Randy Hence, 58, of Houma, has not contacted family members for close to 2 months, prior to the report being filed.
On October 27th, shortly before 7:00pm, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division was contacted by a family member of Hence, who provided Authorities with information of his missing status. Through investigation, Deputies responded to an address in the 300 block of Edwards Street, known to have been a residence of Hence, where Authorities were unable to locate him. Deputies and Detectives have continued to the search for Hence, which led them to an additional address in the 100 block of Historic Drive, where again, Hence was unable to be located.
Randy Hence is described as a white male, 5 foot 10 inches, 170 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes, and is known to use a motorized wheelchair.
At this point in the investigation, authorities have been unable to locate Hence, who has been placed into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing person.
