GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT

July 8, 2024


Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the recent graduation of the Terrebonne Parish Regional Training Academy, POST Basic #43 Graduating class, which took place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Terrebonne Parish Regional Training Academy.


The graduation was led by Major Timothy Lucas and the entire staff of the Terrebonne Parish Regional Training Academy, as well as many distinguished members of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Houma Police Department.  Sheriff Tim Soignet provided the welcoming address, in addition to Chief Travis Theriot providing speeches for all in attendance.


The event saw 15 graduates complete the POST required training academy, comprised of cadets from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Houma Police Department, and the Golden Meadow Police Department.  These young Officers and Deputies will begin their career with their respective agencies and take the academy-based training learned as a foundation for future growth.

 

The graduates of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office are as follows:

Brice Duthu, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and recipient of the prestigious Marksmanship Award.

Case Lovell, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and recipient of the prestigious Academic Award.

Tyree Smith, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and recipient of the prestigious Physical Fitness Award.

Elrin Fanguy III, William Hunter, Christian Montoto, Haylee Perrotto, Jabriel Singleton, and Mike Solet.

The graduates of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office are as follows:
