DIVISIONS
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office along with any other Sheriff's Office is often seen only as a law enforcement entity. However, these agencies cover areas of responsibility that extend beyond that. Below are a breakdown of some of the larger divisions within the department.
CRIMINAL ENFORCEMENT DIVISIONS
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Patrol Division is comprised of a group of men and women who are the faces you see on the streets of Terrebonne Parish everyday. The easily identifiable, fully marked units are their office for day to day operations. They provide the citizens of Terrebonne Parish with immediate response to complaints ranging from simple civil matters, theft, burglaries, automobile crashes or homicides, etc. Part of this division is unseen, but often heard, they are the dispatchers who field calls from the public and relay pertinent information to the Criminal Patrol Deputies.
CORRECTIONS DIVISION
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Corrections Division personnel is responsible for every facet of the day to day operations of the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Also maintaining the operation of the Terrebonne Parish Transitional Work Program.

CIVIL DIVISION
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Civil Department duties consist of property tax collection, issuance of subpoenas and other notices and the seizure and sale of seized items.
TRAINING DIVISION
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Training Division is responsible for the continuing education of current employees. They ensure employees meet current and modern policing standards of training. Those assigned to the Training Division also are responsible for the operation of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Regional Training Academy.
