ATTORNEY VISITATION
Visitation will begin at 8:00 A.M. and end at 9:00 P.M.
Excluded times:
11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. (Lunch)
4:40 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. (Dinner)
Attorneys MUST conclude their business and exit the facility by 9:00 P.M.
THIS MEANS:

All attorneys MUST fax a list of their client(s) that they are attempting to see, 24 HOURS prior to their visit and the time the attorneys will be arriving at the facility on the following day. The fax should contain a contact number for the attorney. This will help prevent any scheduling conflicts (both for the facility and the visiting attorney). Attorneys are to fax the list to FAX NUMBER: 985-857-0365.

All Attorneys arriving to confer with their clients(s) on criminal or civil matters shall present at the time of the requested visit, a Bar Card (Blue or White), and a valid State Drivers Licenses.

All Attorneys must sign attorney visitation logbook before being allowed to visit with their clients(s).

Attorney is confirming with their client(s) may visit with one client at a time any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, excluding the following time periods listed above.

Attorneys, paralegal, or private investigators working for the attorney or prohibited from bringing purses\ pocketbooks, cell phones, camera, video cameras, tape/digital recorders, and computers with them while they're visiting.

If an attorney or investigator needs to bring any type of electronic equipment, they will need to get PRIOR APPROVAL from the Warden or Assistant Warden before being allowed.

Attorneys are not allowed in any restricted area of the facility.

Attorneys are not allowed to give client(s) any items unless it is their legal documents. These papers should not have any type of binder clips, staples, or paper clips on them.

If during visitation hours an attorney requests to see a client who is scheduled to see a medical provider. The client will see the medical provider first as per facility policy.
